I made the decision to open Traveling Tails Pet S'Paw to fulfill my lifelong dream of working with animals while providing professional, quality care and personal service that your pet deserves in the convenience and security in their own home.

Having always been an animal lover, I had many pets as a child. My first dog "Boots" received many baths as well as obedience training from a self taught kid who followed the Purina Puppy Training Booklet® step by step. Of coarse, Boots was the smartest dog in the neighborhood! I like interacting with both people and animals and I enjoy teaching. My love of social interaction and teaching led me into the field of education where I've spent ten years.

Recently, I have realized that my most happy times are spent interacting with my own pets. I enjoy taking them to different events around the area. One of my dogs, Breyer, enjoys the time we spend in agility training and the other two enjoy swimming, taking long walks and just hanging out at home. It seems the writing was on the wall and my passion for working with animals could no longer be denied.

With this career move to pet grooming, I feel as if I have finally come home! As pet lovers we can never fully return the unconditional love and enjoyment that out pets give us - but it sure is fun trying!! My motto is: "There's No Place Like Home" and as we all know, pets make our homes complete.
